George Green has strong experience supporting water treatment and clean water infrastructure projects, including work for major water-industry clients. Our capability includes the design and manufacture of carbon steel pipework and associated fabricated products for potable water applications, with approved coating and lining options where required.
We design, manufacture and install products for wastewater projects across the UK and beyond. This includes fabricated pipework, drainage and sewer pipe solutions, and specialist products such as half bridge scrapers for settlement tank applications. Our experience ranges from local infrastructure schemes through to large-scale projects with demanding technical requirements.
Alongside the water sector, George Green supports clients in utilities, oil, gas, petrochemical and other industrial environments. We manufacture bespoke pipework, fittings and structural steel components such as platforms, staircases and walkways, all tailored to the needs of the application.
George Green offers in-house design support for pipework, machined parts and other fabricated metal components. We produce spool drawings, piping isometrics, site survey layouts, 2D drawings and 3D models to help clients move from concept to manufacture with greater confidence.
Most of our work is bespoke, so we are used to developing one-off and project-specific solutions where accuracy, practicality and buildability matter.
What we do
Our fabrication team includes trained fabricators and coded welders working to the standards required for each project. We manufacture in mild steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and specialist materials, depending on the duty and specification.
We also support dimensional, material and weld testing to help ensure finished products meet required tolerances and quality standards.

Learn moreOur purpose-built workshop in Keighley, West Yorkshire, gives us the space and lifting capability to handle a wide range of fabrication work. The facility is over 10,000 square feet and includes two overhead pendant cranes with five-tonne safe working loads, allowing a combined fabrication capacity of up to 10 tonnes at one time.
We have extensive welding experience across components and assemblies of varying size, material and complexity. Our welding processes include MMA, MIG, TIG and submerged arc welding for a broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
