Pressurised Rotor Storage Canisters

Pressurised Rotor Storage Canisters

We design and manufacture pressurised transport and storage canisters for the safe handling and storage of very expensive spare parts, such as turbine rotors and pump impellors.

These canisters ensure companies have easy access to essential spare parts that need to be kept on hand for an indeterminate amount of time and which are often difficult to obtain quickly.

A recent project for us involved the manufacturing of a canister with a pressure of 1.0 bar and a component load of 2,200kg. The container featured a nitrogen bottle attached to its frame to maintain and regulate the pressure and a safety relief valve.

We also designed the pressurised rotor storage canisters so it could be stored vertically or horizontally, and internally it featured rubber-faced mounts to secure the stored items in all directions.
